You will see the oldest known house in Athens and walk down the oldest street spending some time in the magnificent Metropolis Cathedral before experiencing a feast of traditional Greek food and drink.
Fresh, hot Spinach pie, a variety of cheeses, olives and Olive oil. Sample Greek sweets made from rich, pure honey and, of course no tour would be complete without trying a Souvlaki.
Save some space for a locally produced Ouzo from a spectacular venue in the heart of the Plaka before sitting down to dine at a typical Greek taverna. Here you will experience a meze meal to be remembered.
Starting at 11.00am every Sunday , we will meet at the fountain in Syntagma Square , stop for a Greek coffee and then make our tour ending at the meze tavern around 4 hours later.
